Svetlana's costume was going to be purple, so I changed the color of my Wizard to maroon. We looked at a lot of in-game turnarounds aside from the splash art, and that's how I ended up making my costume a combination of red, gold and silver. 

We spent a week together making the costumes—Svetlana built most of the armor pieces, while I sewed most of our costumes. We then both finished our costumes separately leading up to wearing them together at Katsucon. 

I used a combination of materials for the sewn portions of the costume, including pleather, silk, and an embossed stretch knit. The armor is all made of Worbla, mostly by Svetlana, some pieces by me, and Benni showed me how to properly paint, so I spent a lot of time painting all the pieces and attaching them. 

Still, I ran out of time on some detailing I wanted to add, and didn't have the staff done that I picked out. But Svetlana kindly loaned me her Aion spell book, which totally works for the Wizard hahaha. I will be making the staff and adding more embellishments to my Wizard for the next con I wear her to!
