Why I chose to make this costume:
Resident Evil 4 is my favorite game in the franchise and I really enjoyed the Remake as well! It was kinda a no-brainer for me to make Ada's costume from this game as well.
How I made this costume:
This Ada design is fairly simple! I bought a sweater dress and shortened it to mini length, and made black thigh highs from my 4-way stretch pleather.
The gun holster is what I spent most time on. It is made of real leather, a hunk of cow hide, which I properly cut, assembled with snaps and buckles, dyed black and finished. I did this within the 24 hours before flying to Asia, once again proving that cosplayers are the most productive on a hard deadline lol.
I used my OG Ada Wong thigh holster for this costume! It only seemed fitting!
Thoughts on this costume:
We shot Ada in a cosplay studio in Tokyo that used to be an Industrial warehouse! I was so happy to be able to use this incredible setting! The arsenal wall! The motorcycle! That set treatment!
